GWXVII Miami 2006 at The Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel
GWXVII Miami 2006 will be held at the Sheraton Miami Mart Hotel. The Sheraton Miami Mart is located near the University of Miami and the home of the Orange Bowl. The hotel offers two full-service restaurants that include daily buffets and night entertainment. The Escuna Restaurant provides daily themed buffets such as Caribbean, Italian, Mediterranean, and Oriental all week long.The Navio Bar features live nightly entertainment seven days a week, with a nightly theme ranging from Latin night to Martini and Sushi night. Also enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and the in-house fitness center.
Airport Transportation
The hotel provides complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle service, with a courtesy telephone located in the baggage-claim area for summoning a shuttle-van. Taxis are also available ($5-$15).
Internet Access
Wireless High Speed Internet Access is available in all guest rooms (additional charge - around $10 / 24hrs).
How Do I Make A Reservation?
The Conference Housing Office, the official housing and lodging agency, has been entrusted with the reservation of housing for GWXVII. The special conference rate is US$129 per night per room (single or double) plus tax. All participants are requested to make reservations with this application form only.
You are kindly asked to send a deposit of US$200 per person payable to GWXVII Conference Housing (place of issue: USA; in US$) or you may give us a credit card guarantee. Upon receipt of your reservation request and deposit we will send you a confirmation showing details of the conference housing reserved for you, if available.
Application accepted on first-come-first-serve basis. Conference housing is extremely limited. FAX form as soon as you receive this package.

When Should I Arrive?
International Delegates will be arriving all day on April 19, 2006. Please arrive by late afternoon into Miami on April 19. The GWXVII Plenary Session begins at 8:00 am on April 20. Check-out time is April 22, 2006 at noon.
Changes and Cancellations
Please report any changes in the arrival and departure date as well as cancellations to Conference Housing as soon as possible. For cancellation up to one week prior to arrival a handling fee of US$45 will be charged. For cancellations within one week prior to arrival a no-show fee in the amount of one night will be charged.
